In accordance with the CAAT-A Negotiating Procedures and OPSEU Policy, a two-day final demand-setting meeting will be held in Toronto on the weekend of March 4 & 5 2017.
All local demands from each local that were reported on the demand setting report form will be tallied, weighted and ranked in order of importance. The tally will serve as the agenda and establish the order for discussion and debate.
All Delegates are determined according to OPSEU’s Convention formula. Any alternate(s) accompanying delegates are at the local’s expense. Head Office will cover an alternate’s expense only where the alternate attends instead of and in place of the delegate. Please note that alternates, like delegates, must be elected.
OPSEU will book your accommodation, provided you have submitted the appropriate form prior to February 17. After this date, neither the accommodation, nor the rate, are guaranteed. Please note that OPSEU will pay accommodations only for delegates travelling in from more than 60 km away.
