A Bargaining Conference for the Ambulance Division has been set for October 26 and 27. The conference begins at noon on Monday, October 26, and ends at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27.
This is a call-out is for all ambulance bargaining units with a collective agreement expiring in 2016.
As per article 4.1 of the Ambulance Negotiations Procedures, those bargaining units are entitled to send their entire bargaining team to the conference.
The Division Executive strongly suggests that elections for the bargaining team for the upcoming round of negotiations be held prior to the conference. If said team has not been elected, members of the current bargaining team are invited to attend, with the understanding that information acquired will be shared with the new bargaining team.
