Toronto – The union representing workers at Canadian Blood Services (CBS) in Ontario is demanding “change and accountability” after a recent Maclean’s magazine article raised new questions and concerns about private-sector involvement in the blood system.
Toronto – Some 800 Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) members at Canadian Blood Services have reached a tentative collective agreement with their employer.
TORONTO – The federal government is jeopardizing the health of blood recipients in Canada by its failure to draft legislation that would make private, for-profit plasma collection clinics illegal, the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) said today.
