Resolving the CLC dispute

    On January 17, 2018, the largest private-sector union in Canada, Unifor, announced that it was disaffiliating from the Canadian Labour Congress.
     
    Since then, OPSEU President Warren (Smokey) Thomas has been attempting to help resolve the dispute that led to the disaffiliation and bring the two sides back together as a united house of labour.
