Stronger Together: 21st Century Solidarity

Stronger together: Solidarity the key in 2013

January 2, 2013

The key to success in the fight for good union jobs and quality public services comes down to one word – solidarity. That’s the message of a new video featuring front-line workers from across the province. Produced by OPSEU and six other leading Ontario unions, the video features the voices of working people from both the private and public sectors. “The year ahead will be an intense one for every working person in Ontario,” says OPSEU President Warren (Smokey) Thomas. “Our jobs will be under attack, and so will the public services we all depend on. With important rounds of bargaining under way and a provincial election looming, this year is one in which we can never forget that we are stronger together.”
